2009 KROGEN EXPRESS 52

Presenting "Mystic" with her plumb stem, low profile and Classy Stars and Strips Blue hull sides, "Mystic" turns heads wherever she ventures. Taking her cues from the Famed commuter yachts of the 20s, she is certain to always be in style. This modern interpretation of a traditional coastal cruiser also has functional advantages as well. Designed by acclaimed naval architect James Krogen, the KE52's semi-displacement hull is a marvel of performance and efficiency. When conditions are perfect and time allows, throttle back to 8 knots and enjoy fuel consumption of only 3 gallons an hour. Or when you need to cover long distances, make a bridge, or get out of a storm, push her electronic controls forward and You'll be rewarded with over 15 knot "cruising" speeds while burning just over 25 gph and top speed of 20 knots. With the KE52', the options are yours. A very notable standard factory feature for the Krogen Express is the use of The Aquadrive Antivibration System which will greatly enhance your comfort and time underway by isolating the noise and vibration typically found aboard other vessels.

Originally commissioned in late 2011, Mystic's 2nd and current owner is a very Astute Yachtsman that has racked up thousands of cruising miles on various brands during his previous ownerships including such brand names as Nordhavn. With all of his experience in coastal cruising he has stated this has been his favorite among any of his previous vessels. Noting its fuel efficiency and long range ability at displacement speeds, making distant ports of call a breeze. While also having the ability pick up the pace when wanting to take advantage of a weather window, make port before night fall, catch a flight or dinner reservation with speeds up to 20 knots. Krogen designs are well known for their livability, and the KE52' is no exception. This begins with ease of boarding through large boarding gates on both sides of the spacious, covered cockpit as well as a generous transom door. Double, weather tight aluminum
