Cortland Berlin is a distinguished Yacht Broker and Sales Manager with a remarkable 15 year record of excellence in the maritime industry. With dedicated experience in the dynamic and vibrant market in Southern California, his expertise spans a comprehensive range of services, including new vessel sales, used boat transactions and brokerage of powerboats.

Raised on the coast in beautiful Southern California and as a long-time resident of San Diego, Cortland developed a passion for water activities and the boating culture. In addition to boats, Cortland has a genuine passion for people and giving back! He loves to learn about people and hear their stories! Cortland gained his academic foundation from San Diego State University where he cultivated his business acumen and commitment to excellence. His professional endeavors and experiences have included being an entrepreneur and business owner as well as a magazine publisher.

As a Yacht Broker and Sales Manager, Cortland takes pride in his ability to forge strong relationships, foster cohesive teams and develop innovative marketing approaches. These skills have led to his professional success and respect within the industry.

Cortland loves his family and is a dedicated husband and father. He finds joy in spending quality time with his wife of 36 years, his son and a large extended family who regularly vacation together at their cabin in Big Bear Lake, CA as well as a favorite summer destination, Bass Lake CA.

Originally from Virginia from a Navy family, Tom's family relocated to San Diego when he was 7 years old, where he began sailing in various sailing and racing teams, and thus began his love for the water. While Tom completed college at SDSU, he was manager of a boat rental company for five years and was in charge of a fleet of one hundred power boats. Tom earned his 50 ton USCG off shore Captain License, and worked as a charter captain on San Diego Bay for 9 years, running various charter vessels. Tom went on to run the sales, logistics, and management for San Diego Boat Movers, where he successfully increased revenues and successfully managed hundreds of large yacht transports across the country. Tom's personal boat is a 1979 Boston Whaler 17' Montauk, a true classic that he enjoyed refurbishing himself. When Tom is not at work he enjoys surfing, going to the beach, Mexico, and driving his classic 17' Boston Whaler around the harbor.

Tom has successfully closed over $30M in yacht transactions at Silver Seas Yachts. In 2022 he was #2 in the company for sales for Used Yacht Volume. His dedication to finding you the right yacht is unmatched, and his knowledge and expertise in boating, yachting and marketing will serve you best for buying or selling you next yacht. Tom's favorite yacht is the 2024 Princess Yacht Y80.

Ken Murray is a seasoned Marketing and Sales Executive with a highly accomplished entrepreneurial background. Retired businessman from Manhattan, Ken Murray has dedicated his life to growing his family in La Jolla California, building relations, and following his passion for all things boating. An avid boater himself, Ken has purchased several boats from Silver Seas Yachts. He has a history of owning 40, 47 and 48 ft Sea Ray Sundancers, a Tiara 44 Coupe, 50 ft Cruiser Cantius to his most recent yacht, an Azimut 55 Fly. Ken is well-versed in a wide range of different brands and manufacturers and enjoys entertaining his family, friends, and clients by taking them out for a cruise around the San Diego Bay. As an active member of the San Diego Yacht Club for over 15 years, he has created strong friendships and trusting connections from a community of devoted boaters.

After retirement, he knew that he wasn’t entirely done with working as his boating and sales passion ignited him to become a part-time yacht broker at Silver Seas Yachts in San Diego. With his tenacious work ethic and motivated personality, he has created himself an incredible career path in the boating world. He enjoys going into his beautiful bay view office and to work alongside the incredible team at Silver Seas Yachts. With his diverse knowledge of boats, he proudly sells and represents a wide variety of brands such as Princess Yachts, Tiara Yachts, Cruisers Yachts, Aviara Boats, and many more!
